I'm 6'5" and I couldn't dunk.
Played high school and club basketball growing up. Relentless about every part of it — strength, speed, shooting, agility. I lifted, drilled, ran the program. Read everything, bought everything, did everything I was told. Some of it helped. Most of it didn't. The wall stayed where it was. What nobody could explain: I wasn't flexible. I wasn't light on my feet. I wasn't bouncy. The athleticism I was building had nowhere to go.
Then I started yoga. That's where everything changed. The flexibility unlocked movement I didn't know my body could do. Three months later my game was different — cleaner cuts, more bounce, less wear. People started asking what I was doing. That gap I missed — the level underneath strength and skill — is what I work on now. I built Third Level Training to teach what I wish someone had taught me.
